Overview:
In September 2022, I played a pivotal role in launching Canada Goose's official TikTok page, coinciding with the debut of our Crofton and Cypress vests. Beyond the primary objective of introducing TikTok to Canada Goose's audience, I took the initiative to expand our reach and sales potential. As a regional influencer lead, not only did I successfully identify and contract influencers for the TikTok challenge, but I also went above and beyond by securing Instagram stories with product links. This strategic move was designed to maximize engagement and drive sales, all while meticulously staying within the allotted budget.
Tactics:
Executing Canada Goose's TikTok launch and vest collection promotion required a multifaceted approach. I strategically selected six influencers with robust TikTok followings and aligned them with our brand ethos. To amplify the impact and reach of this campaign, I leveraged Instagram, a platform with immense selling power. Recognizing the potential of Instagram stories coupled with direct product links, I negotiated with influencers to include these in their contracts. This was done without exceeding our budget, showcasing my ability to maximize resources effectively.
My role extended to ensuring that the influencers had the Crofton and Cypress vests for content creation, guiding them to produce TikTok content that was both engaging and reflective of their unique styles. Simultaneously, I coordinated with them to create Instagram stories that not only highlighted the products but also included direct purchase links. This approach not only increased the visibility of the TikTok challenge but also directly drove sales, demonstrating the effectiveness of a cross-platform strategy in digital marketing campaigns.
